About Kiddy Wholesale
Established in 1955, Kiddy wholesale was originally a manufacturer of fishing floats and lead weights supplying customers in the South West of England. As the company developed over the years the emphasis was switched steadily to wholesale and import of sea fishing tackle from suppliers accross the world and in the early 1990's the manufacturing side was sold to allow for further expansion in this area.
We are still a wholly family owned business and are now one of the largest independent suppliers of sea fishing tackle covering all of the U.K. Our 50+ years of experience in Sea fishing has enabled us to develop and create our own in house brands such as Sidewinder and Storm which are now recognised as market leaders within the industry.
In addition we stock and distribute many other well known Sea fishing tackle brands such as Kamasan, Sakuma, Breakaway and
Coleman to name but a few.

As an independent family run company we think that you will find us a little bit different from the other large international companies in the tackle industry!
Nearly all of our new business comes through personal recomendation from companies we already deal with, our staff our keen fishermen, all of whom have worked for us over 15 years and will be able to answer technical questions over the phone.
Lastly we have been here long enough to know that a good business reputation really depends on what happens when something goes wrong and so for that reason you'll find our backup service level, second to none!
Showroom
In 2005 the company relocated to St Marys Buildings in central torquay and this has enabled us to have a custom built permanent showroom which we keep constantly updated with all of our new products.
This is the best place to come and see all of our new gear and best selling items and we offer complimentary overnight accomodation in Torquay for any of our trade accounts who have made an appointment to visit us.
We will also be able to give expert advice and assistance and answer any questions regarding our products on site.
